I thought this book was great! It is really interesting and very inspiring. This book encourages me to help people who need it and make a difference in the world. I hadn't even heard of Aung San Suu Kyi until my teacher chose me to do this review. I know I will never forget her for what she did for her country. The reason for this is that I could make sense of what was written, it wasn't all just text that I couldn't understand. I like how Allan has explained what unusual words mean and how to pronounce them. the pictures were nice and simple. I love everything about this book. I highly recommend it to people who like to read biographies or are doing a report on the inspirational Aung San Suu Kyi. Danni Smart Cable Beach Primary School

The book 'Catherine of Siena' is a book that speaks about a girl named Catherine. It talks about what she did in her life. How she helped people like criminals, lepers and the Pope.

I think this is a good book because it makes you think and actually talks to you in the modern language that people usually talk to each other. In my opinion it was an informative and yet funny book.

Edmund Barton was sometimes called Tosspot Toby and he went to Sydney Grammar for high school. Edumund Barton could of been one of  Australia's greatest cricket umpires until politics got in the way. He was skinny and then he was fat because he ate and drank too much. One of Edmund's favourite games was jigsaw puzzles. Edmund's mum had eleven kids and thats a lot.

I think that Fred Hollows is an informative book without being boring. It doesn't take too long to read but still tells you everything you need to know about Fred Hollows. I think that one sentence in the book summed him up perfectly, "if there was something broken, he wanted to fix it straight away." It is a book about a working-class man who became an eye speciallist to help the aboriginals who had various health problems at the time. I would give this book 9/10 because it is a great book. It is suitable for people aged 10 to 108.

How r you? That's good im great. Do you know what? no ok ill tell you. I have read two of you books! yayy ! I read Nelson Mandela first then Aung San Suu Kyi. But im just going to tell you what i thought about your book Nelson Mandela.
Well... in class ive got to admit i only read 7 pages because i couldn't be bothered and didnt know there would be an assignment, but as soon as you told us that we were going to have an assignment on it i straight away read the book. i really liked it. like really really like it. It's a short book but its able to fit every littled detail of Nelson into it. and i especially like it how you wrote it in your own style. I also enjoyed the illustrations very funny. I don't think i need to tell you what i thought about Nelson Mandela because i already told you what i think in my assignment! but i have to say i am very overjoyed that Nelson Mandela is our class role model. Because his cool. and yes so keep on writing books. you good at it.
