I have read a few of your books and they're really funny. How do you put humour into them and still manage to keep the information clear for others to understand? I read the Matthew Flinders book and found that it was very interesting and factual.I have learnt a lot about Matthew and now know why he has many places named after him.

I've got to say that the books you write are more exciting than other books about people in history. I think your books are very interesting and funny...even though your books are funny they are also factual and educational. These books you write make learning about history enjoyable and amazing. Even though I've only read the book about Matthew Flinders, I have heard that others books of yours are also enjoyable.

I think the book was very interesting because it told me a lot about Matthew Flinders and some of the things he did.He was a great role model to people all around the world and taught us to be nice to everyone around us.I also think that Matthew Flinders was a great captain because he has a lot of places named after him.Matthew Flinders book was very easy to read and was very interesting.

I thought the book was very interesting...something new that I have learnt. The book was funny and great and the pictures were good but not very detailed, like how Ann had only 1 eye but the pictures made it look like two eyes...

But..other than that the book was excellent! I had fun reading the book and hope to read more of the books.

Matthew Flinders was a great book to read. The book was full of information and detail. I especially enjoyed the part when Matthew circumnavigated Australia. Now, I know a lot more about Matthew Flinders and his travels.I recommend this book for all who are interested in the history of Australian navigation.

Matthew Flinders was a great captain on his ship The Navigator and he sailed around Terra Australis (Australia) and made maps of places people hadn't made maps of yet. In one part of his life he was captured in Italy and was treated like a prisoner for a few years and then he was allowed to go home to his wife. I think Matthew Flinders has lots of places named after him like Flinders Range, Flinders St railway, Flinders St, Flinders Peak, Flinders Chase National Park, Finders Highway, Flinders River and many more.

I think that Matthew Flinders is a great book to read and is very 'informative'. It gave me lots of information about him and now I know why he was so famous.He was famous for being the first person to circumnavigate Australia. That is why he is important. He basically drew the map of Australia. I enjoyed it alot. Another fact that I learnt about Flinders was that when he died, a copy of his book A Voyage to Terra Australis was palced in his hand.
